Script for callers:

“Hi. I’m calling today to put JPMorgan Chase on notice for its Indigenous rights abuses and financing of the climate emergency. Chase must immediately stop financing projects and companies that fail to respect human and Indigenous rights. Chase must cease financing for any new fossil fuel project, or any company that is increasing deforestation, expanding fossil fuel extraction or building new fossil infrastructure like pipelines or power plants. Do you know if JPMorgan Chase will phase out all business with the fossil fuel industry soon? it is critical that banks like Chase stop funding the fossil fuel industry.”

Make a phone call to BlackRock CEO, Larry Fink

Call BlackRock’s CEO at 212-810-5300 to hold him accountable to his climate promises.

Here are some key points:

  • BlackRock must expand its coal exclusion policy to become a fossil fuel policy that includes tar sands and Arctic oil, and make it the default option for all of its investments.
  • BlackRock must adopt a policy recognizing the rights of Indigenous People that applies to all extractive industries, and hold the companies it invests in to these standards of conduct.
