“Hi. I’m calling today to put JPMorgan Chase on notice for its Indigenous rights abuses and financing of the climate emergency. Chase must immediately stop financing projects and companies that fail to respect human and Indigenous rights. Chase must cease financing for any new fossil fuel project, or any company that is increasing deforestation, expanding fossil fuel extraction or building new fossil infrastructure like pipelines or power plants. Do you know if JPMorgan Chase will phase out all business with the fossil fuel industry soon? it is critical that banks like Chase stop funding the fossil fuel industry.”
It is best if you write your own emails and tell these decision-makers in your own words why you oppose JPMorgan Chase’s funding of the climate crisis and human rights abuses. These buttons will auto-load a template email on most phones and computers that you can customize or send as is.

Leave a comment on a recent post calling on Liberty to meet with Indigenous leaders and stop insuring tar sands pipelines. Note that the pinned post at the top of the page is about Liberty Mutual’s support for black lives matter, so just be mindful of that if you choose to comment on that one.
Here’s a sample comment
Why is Liberty Mutual supporting the violation of Indigenous rights and the acceleration of climate chaos? By insuring tar sands pipelines like Keystone XL and Trans Mountain, Liberty Mutual is implicated in some of the worst fossil fuels on our planet. Liberty, listen to the thousands of people raising their voices around the world: meet with Indigenous leaders, respect Indigenous rights, and stop backing tar sands expansion!
Call BlackRock’s CEO at 212-810-5300 to hold him accountable to his climate promises.
Here are some key points:
BlackRock must expand its coal exclusion policy to become a fossil fuel policy that includes tar sands and Arctic oil, and make it the default option for all of its investments.
BlackRock must adopt a policy recognizing the rights of Indigenous People that applies to all extractive industries, and hold the companies it invests in to these standards of conduct.
Indigenous leaders from across Turtle Island [aka North America] are demanding Liberty Mutual to stop supporting the Keystone XL pipeline (KXL) because their communities will be directly impacted by the pipeline.
In Colorado, the Suncor tar sands refinery is one of the largest sources of pollution in the state and produces a toxic cocktail of emissions which have serious adverse health consequences on the communities living nearby. Demand JPMorgan Chase stop financing Suncor Energy.
